Junie is a daisy sitting in her own brown flower pot, and the pot is smiling. She is 13cm of very silly, very tactile plush — the bean fill means she slumps into a palm and stays where she is put, which is most of the appeal of the Palm Pals range. Aurora make these as part of their eco-friendly initiative: the inner fibre fill and the beans are both made from recycled plastic. The Whimsical corner of the Palm Pals collection is where the flowers, food and general oddities live, and Junie is one of the friendliest of them. Small enough for a pocket, a party bag or a desk, and priced so that collecting them does not become a project.
