Aurora Eco Nation Turtle 26cm
The Aurora Eco Nation Turtle is a generously sized 26cm sea creature made entirely from recycled PET bottles. The shell is a patterned green with subtle panelling, the flippers are soft and wide, and the face carries a calm embroidered expression that both children and adults seem to find soothing. The recycled polyester is genuinely lovely to touch — you would never guess it started life as a plastic bottle. Aurora have removed plastic beans from the Eco Nation range and replaced plastic eyes with embroidery throughout, which makes every toy in the collection as environmentally responsible as they can manage and safe for the very youngest children. At this size the turtle sits flat and stable on a shelf or bed, and it works particularly well in ocean-themed nurseries where a larger piece is needed to anchor the room.
